The Harris County Public Library has installed new software that offers even more ways to SEARCH for items in the online catalog.

This software, produced by Aquabrowser Library, helps you DISCOVER what you need by providing links to related concepts, alternate spellings, translations, other formats, and more displayed in a visual map (or word cloud).

You can REFINE or narrow your search based on just about any aspect including the item's location in the library system, its format, publication date, or language, and you can sort your results by relevance, author, title, or publication date.

We hope you will find searching the catalog with the new Aquabrowser software to be easy and effective. If you prefer the older version of the catalog, you can still use it by clicking the "Classic Catalog" link above.
